I'm just a normal guy getting on with my pretty normal life. Except aged 18 my life was changed when I came to faith in the God of the Bible as being the one and only true God, and Jesus as being my saviour. Now I have a keen interest in theology, especially reformed theology and I am seeking to study and learn more about the God I serve in order to effectively communicate this to a lost world, within the church and outside it. It's not easy, in fact it's hard. At times I am left feeling isolated and alone in my struggles but I know my redeemer lives and that I can rest in God's grace.
Apart from this I like to laugh and joke around. I'm a fairly laid black soon to be 23 year old who enjoys playing football (soccer) and hanging with his mates. I like all types of music, movies and books and I am not a fundamentalist Christian who shouts for a withdrawl from society and labels everything that is not Christian as evil. I don't like churches that are stuck in their ways...who are stuck in the past. These churches are dying today and it's sad that they won't listen to others who are actually living in the 21st century. I also don't like how some today are trying to reconstruct Christianity into what it's not. The Bible is the church's full and final authority regarding in the faith and the doctrine within the Bible is clear. I thus have a love for Reformed Theology because it let's the Bible do the talking.
I simply want to live a life of obedience to God, fully surrendered to Him in the hope that He might be gracious enough to use a sinner like me to bring people to faith. It's a mammoth task and I don't know where my life is going or where it will end up, but I do know that it is in His hands and that is both exciting and reassuring.
Again, I am just a normal guy of average intelligence who is trying to make a difference in the world....the internet blogosphere is just one front. Hopefully in years to come there will be more.
