I thought it would be a good idea to provide a page with links to all the historical confession’s of faith and catechisms, so here it is! Historical Confessions of Faith, such as the Westminster Confession, are rapidly being forgotten about and neglected by today’s generation of Christians. This is to the Church’s own downfall, as the confessions expound the truths of Scripture in a clear and coherent manner. Majority of them were formulated to counteract heretical teachings that were commonplace at the time they were written and thus they are still invaluable to the church today. Ecclesiastes 1:9 tells us;
“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.”
Heresies and False-teaching simply go around in circles, returning every generation in modernised packaging, and because of this fact the historic church confessions are priceless. I pray you will be blessed and encouraged to dig deeper in the word of God through the links below.
