Ancient Words- Sola Scriptura

I was recently thinking to myself about the many people who try to undermine the sufficiency and inerrant aspects of Scripture. Many may have clever arguments, cunningly twisting Scripture, but ultimately these people have little faith in Christ. How little is one’s faith if he is willing to believe that God has indeed created all things, etc yet is unwilling to believe that God can preserve his ancient, life-giving word throughout the ages!?

“Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him… “I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.” (Proverbs 30:5, Matthew 5:17)

  1. Scripture is always an interface between a flawless God and His flawed children. Just because you think that there are flaws in the written record does not mean you doubt God’s glory and power.
